1. Merchant identity
The services are operated under the Mémoire Maison brand by Emilie Cauvier Inc., Montréal–Laval, Québec, Canada. Legal address, telephone and business number must be completed before payments are enabled. Contact: emilie@equipecauvier.com. Privacy officer: emilie@equipecauvier.com.
2. Products and editorial promise
The service creates a personalized 20–30 page memory book from information and media supplied by the customer. Options may include extra copies, e-book, mini-film, digital frame, QR/NFC keepsake, box and private Memory Link.
Wording may be structured and polished, but no person, date, event, relationship, place or attributed emotion may be invented. The customer remains responsible for the accuracy and rights attached to submitted content.
3. Orders, prices and mandatory preview
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars with taxes, fees, currency, delivery terms and estimated timing disclosed before purchase. The customer can review, correct or cancel the cart before payment.
No book is sent to print without a complete digital preview and the customer’s explicit, timestamped approval. A correction request reopens the proof. Changes after approval may carry a fee if production has begun, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
4. Cancellation, refunds and delivery
Because products are personalized, voluntary cancellation after creative work or printing may be limited where the law allows. This does not remove statutory rights for missing mandatory information, protected delay, damage, defect or non-conformity with the approved proof. A savable copy of the distance contract and receipt must be provided.
5. Customer content and Memory Link
Customers keep ownership of their content and grant a limited licence needed to create, host, print and deliver the project. They confirm authority for recognizable people, particularly minors. Marketing, testimonials and product demonstrations require separate consent.
Memory Link access, hosting term, downloads, renewal and expiry are disclosed before purchase. The owner is responsible for protecting secret links and PINs.
6. Professional accounts
Professional quotes define credits, authorized users, expiry, pricing, branding, data processing, service levels and renewal. Credits have no cash value and may not be transferred outside the organization without approval.
7. Law and consumer rights
Applicable Québec and Canadian law governs. Nothing excludes a right, warranty, remedy or jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be waived. Québec consumers retain the protections of Québec consumer law.
8. Contact
